The Church Council of St. Andrew’s has extended an invitation to Pastor John Kuehner to visit St. Andrew’s. Pastor John Kuehner (Unity Lutheran in South San Francisco) will be coming to St. Andrew’s to speak on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John will be speaking on the experience of leading his congregation, Redeemer Lutheran, in partnership with 2 other local Lutheran churches and then these churches agreed to merge together as one congregation. This new congregation is now called Unity Lutheran. The excitement of this adventure has revitalized the people and new folks have now joined them from the community.
Come and hear about this exciting new ministry and their adventures along the way. Pastor Kuehner did his teaching parish assignment here at St. Andrew’s when he was in seminary. Many of the folks here remember John fondly and his open and welcoming ministry style.
