Affirmation of Baptism

We celebrated the Affirmation of Baptism as a confirmation of the faith of 3 young people in May and June.

Ayden Bugarini, Erin Wallace and Hanna Quanbeck embraced the faith into which they were baptized, claiming it as their own.

These students have studied scripture and theology over the past two years with the youth of Good Shepherd Lutheran (Burlingame) 2017-2018 and Hope Lutheran (San Mateo) 2018-2019; and with Holy Trinity (San Carlos) 2018-2019.

We were inspired by the questions they asked, the community of trust and joy that they formed together and we are eager to see how the love and justice of Jesus will be visible in the lives they choose to lead in response to his love!
