Sunday School & Confirmation For children age 3 through 5th Grade, Sunday School is offered during the school year. With the guidance of our Church in Society Committee, the children learn to care for people in our community and beyond by giving their monetary or in-kind offerings to various programs. Programs they have supported include: Shelter Network (homeless), ELLIPSE (care of persons with HIV/AIDS), Samaritan House (emergency homeless), CORA (abuse prevention), INCH (Interfaith Network Community Help), Heifer International, ELCA World Hunger, ELCA Disaster Relief, Help One Child (supporting Foster Families), and the Church in Jerusalem (Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Holy Land and Jordan).
Confirmation Class for students in Grades 6 through 8 meets on Sunday mornings during the school year. Students learn the basics of their Lutheran faith and progress into full adult membership in the church.
