Rally Sunday - August 29 Helping to lead our worship this morning will be our special guests, the Mariachi Mariachissimo Band!
Our Educational Program (Sunday School, Confirmation, and Adult Classes) will begin a couple of weeks earlier this year as "Rally Sunday" has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 29th. Noting that most of the students are back in school at this time, the Education Committee decided that kicking off the new Sunday School also might be appropriate. We look forward to picking up our educational program with you.
Samaritan Sunday - September 26
For Samaritan Sunday on Sept. 26, we are collecting disposable diapers for newborns for CORA (Communities Overcoming Relational Abuse). They provide free and confidential services to victims and survivors of domestic/ dating violence and abuse, including child and teen witnesses, in San Mateo County. Their emergency shelter provides much needed safety and security for those in need. Their services also include a 24-hour hotline, support groups, and legal services. Please bring your donations by Sept. 26. You may also make an additional contribution by making your check payable to St. Andrew’s and noted "CORA.
