Confirmation Class
for students in Grades 6 through 8 meets on Sunday mornings during the
school year. Students learn the basics of their Lutheran faith and
progress into full adult membership in the church.
Midweek
Nursery School is a two-mornings a week educational opportunity for
children 3 and 4 years old. Established in 1967, the preschool does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in
the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies,
scholarships, and other school administered programs. Classes rotate on
an annual basis between children that are 3 and 4 years old. In
September 2011 a new class will begin for children who will be three
years old by December 2011. Please contact the church office for more information. The school is eligible to receive Thrivent Choice DollarsSM from Thrivent for Lutherans members.
As part of the W-ELCA,
St. Andrew’s has two “Circles,” which are small groups of women who get
together in homes or at church once a month for Bible study, prayer,
fellowship, and refreshments. The Circles are: Elizabeth Circle, which meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Noon; and Martha Circle, which meets on the second Thursday at 6:30 a.m. All women of the congregation are invited to participate.
St. Andrew's is honored to be a Teaching Parish site for Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS). Located in Berkeley, Calif., PLTS prepares students for their life's vocation of service and leadership.
